Associate Faculty

What are associate faculty? Simply put, the next generation of excellent teachers. For the sake of developing new teachers, we work with young people who graduated from high school as a home school student, and want to serve the home school community through teaching.

To this end

we have requirements for associate faculty which are as strict as our requirements for our senior faculty.

1. They all have experience working with children outside the classroom.
2. They all have classroom teaching experience.

Because they are still in college

we have additional requirements.

3. They are an upperclassman, majoring in the field of instruction, or a related field.
4. They must work under the direct supervision of an experienced senior faculty in the same division, who is on campus with them, and walking through the year with them.
5. They will only teach material at an elementary level.

When they graduate

they can become full faculty if they choose to. They can begin to serve God through teaching in the home school community - because it was a blessing to them, and they want to be a blessing to others.
