Process
American Sign Language (ASL) is the visual/gestural language used by the majority of Deaf individuals in America. This class is a fun, theme-based way to experience this interesting language. Lessons cover basic concepts, Deaf community awareness, and common phrases related to students’ interests. Games, toys, books and “play acting” are used in class to naturally internalize grammar and vocabulary.
