Process

Latin II is a continuation of Latin I. It builds on the grammar and vocabulary mastered in the previous year.  It includes a weekly study of Latin vocabulary and grammar. Each unit contains a Latin reading that takes the student through a fascinating journey of Roman culture, myths, and history all through a Christian perspective. While learning the subtleties of grammar and etymology, students gain a deep understanding of English grammar and logical thinking.     Latin is akin to verbal math and is an excellent preparation for those pursing future careers in law, medicine, science or any of the romance languages.

Required: Latin II: Latin Alive Book 2  (student text) by Karen Moore and Gaylan DuBose     

Optional but recommended for parents: Latin Alive Book 2  (teachers ed.)
