Biblical World View 1 is a course designed to give students an overview of the progression of Western thought and culture utilizing World Views of the Western World 1 by David Quine. WVWW is a comprehensive classical high school study with special emphasis on the work and thoughts of Francis Schaeffer.
The course seeks to prepare students to face an aggressively pagan world. This is accomplished by a study of the great philosophers, writers, and streams of thought that have come out of Israel, Greece, and Rome to affect our presuppositions today.

2. Creation Regained by Francis Schaffer
3. Genesis in Space and Time by Francis Schaffer
4. The Universe Next Door by James Sire
5. The Odyssey by Homer
6. How Long O Lord by Carson
7. Plato’s Republic by Plato
8. The Aeneid by Virgil
9. The God who is There by Francis Schaffer
10. Escape from Reason Francis Schaffer
11. He is There and He is Not Silent by Francis Schaffer
12. The City of God by St. Augustine
13. Church History in Plain Language by Bruce Shelly
14. Creation Regained by Albert M. Walters

Tapes on Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, St. Augustine, and Thomas Aquinas are also listened to and discussed. Year One is considered a four credit course. Desired minimum age is 14 years old. Priority will be given to students who have completed the Starting Points curriculum. This course requires, on average, four to five hours of work per-day.

Class size will be limited. There will be an interview with prospective parents and students before acceptance into class.
