Two of Mr. Goode's students tied for 2nd place in a contest for a poster/logo for the 2015 Austin Youth Film Festival. It was a class project in his Design class in Georgetown. They won kudos and cash prizes ($50 a piece!) as well as some well deserved confidence. There is a public awards ceremony coming up, in Austin, to present the giant checks, etc.
Mr. Goode's students entered 40 pieces out of the 90 or so that were entered in the Art and Science Fair on January 18. 8 of them are now going on to Regional VASE on Saturday, Feb. 28.
