Course Description:
Biblical Greek is a foreign language credit with no prerequisites required. The suggested age is middle to high school students due to the rigor of the coursework. Weekly lessons introduce vocabulary and grammar in reasonable increments. Assignments include contrived simple sentences as well as verses of scripture to translate from the very beginning of the course. Students who complete all of the assignments and study each week should be able to translate passages on their own by the end of the year. The goal is for each student to have a strong foundation for a lifetime of future growth and exposure to Biblical Greek.
Curriculum/Materials:
A Primer of Biblical Greek by Clayton Croy (required)
A Reader's Greek New Testament (recommended - any edition)
