Course Description:

Purpose

The purpose of Liturgical Ballet I training is to provide young students with high level, professional ballet instruction while deepening their understanding of dance as a form of worship. Students will learn beginning ballet terminology and technique, proper body alignment, and how to express themselves through movement in a fun, positive and age-appropriate environment.

Curriculum/Materials:

  • Girls: Cap sleeved or long sleeved leotard, black ankle length leggings, black dance skirt, pink ballet slippers. Hair off the face.

  • Boys:  Tshirt, shorts or sweatpants, black ballet slippers.
