Purpose

The Spanish 4 course puts to use all the vocabulary and grammar acquired in Spanish 1, Spanish 2 & Spanish 3. Grammar review allows review of key grammatical principles and continues to build on their knowledge. Spanish translations of several books in the Chronicles of Narnia will be read throughout the year as well as original classic Spanish short stories and play excerpts. Class time will include grammar review, reading and oral exercises. Time away from the classroom will include vocabulary enrichment, extensive reading and writing (yes, in Spanish). My goal is for each student to continue in their development of reading and conversational abilities of the Spanish language. In order to accomplish this each student must be willing to commit 45-60 minutes every school day in addition to class time.
