Scripps National Spelling Bee 2025
One Day Academy is sponsoring the Scripps National Spelling Bee for home-educated students in Central Texas. The winner may advance to the Central Texas regional BEE in February if they pass an online test. They then may be eligible to progress to the next level of competition that leads D.C!

About The Event
One Day Academy is sponsoring the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The winner of this competition will advance to the Regional Bee, which will be hosted and sponsored by U.T.S.A.'s Downtown San Antonio campus.
The Spelling Bee will consist of two divisions:
Division 1 (just for fun) is for students 7 - 9 years of age. The first-place winner of this division will
not move on to the Regional Spelling Bee. Division 1 will begin at 9 a.m. Participants should check in by 8:45 a.m. on Jan. 25.
Division 2 is for students 7 – 15 years of age. The Champion of this division will compete at the regional competition. Division 2 will begin at approximately 10 a.m. Participants should check in by 9:45 a.m. on Jan. 25.
Upon registration with $10 payment, Study Words will be emailed to registered participants, along with the spelling bee rules. Please note: Competition Words…
